From the mind of a little girl!!!
Elyce's daughter (Natalie, age 11) has been intrigued with the fountain pens that we make. She like to participate as much as she is allowed. From time to time, she will polish a batch of pens (and is pretty good at it!).
She's also very much interested in the resin work her mother has been doing. She wanted to design a blank. I asked her to draw her color palette .. after looking at it, I knew it was something for a blank maker far more accomplished than I. So, I shared her pictures with the guys at Divine Island Design... and in 3 days, had a set of blanks at my door (now that's service!)
This pen is the result of that collaboration.. Introducing the Natter Batter! If you like pastels, this is the pen for you. Green, orange, yellow, blue, and pink in tight swirl patterns... I'm not a fan of pastels, but this resin rocks.
Since it was designed by an 11yr old, it's made on a much smaller scale than 80% of my pens. 5.68" capped, 5.1" uncapped, 14.3 mm barrel diameter, 15.2mm cap diameter, 11.68mm section. Will post securely. We adorned with with a simple gold plated clip.
Is available with a color nib if desired, my recommendation would be Pink, turquoise blue, or green. Contact us directly if you want the colored nib option.
