Another of our Evancio line. I am not entirely sure who made this resin, I found it while packing up the shop and decided to make a pen with it. This is a true one-off, unless I can figure out who did the original pour. Beautiful greens, oranges, and whites swirl around the pen and the resin is highly chatoyant. It's an absolutely georgeous pen.

This one has a black oxide clip.

A True Amazon Jungle of a Pen

Jim’s pens came highly recommended by my pen-friend. After a Virtual Meet the Makers I had a Zoom meet with him. One of my parameters in a fountain pen is a large diameter grip section. I like a broad nib that writes wet without any applied pressure. Jim gave me the pens dimensions and and being a video call he showed the pen next to some other pens. He said he would set a pen up and test write it. I ordered the (Evancio) Amazon Jungle as soon as we hung up.

It arrived a few days later. The body material is Amazon Jungle. A 3D swirl of greens, white and oranges. It has a black clip that fits well with the colors. Once I saw it in person I spent no time deciding to ink it with Diamine Holly. It is the largest grip I have ever written with. I immediately wrote a few pages. For me it is an arthritic fingers delight! It is a very wet writer and Diamine Holly has a lot of pink sheen on Tomoe River paper. With the broad nib it lays down enough ink to make the page shine. I have written a few letters and hope my penpals aren’t getting tired of my interesting inks.

The only improvement I would suggest is a better defined stop in the cap threads. I think one could over-tighten and possibly damage the cap.

I would guess the large grip will not work for everyone. For me I see at least one more Evancio in my future.
