The Evancio is named for one of our first customers. He spec'd out a pen reminescent of the old large Delta's. Large body and cap, but had to post deeply and securely. We created 5 of these pens for him.
The cap is approximately 18mm in diameter, the body 16mm at its widest point, and the section about 15mm at its widest. This pen works very well with a bock #8 titanium nib, but can also be paired with a standard steel #6.
This pen can be made in a variety of colors/resins. The most popular are included in options. If you would like to have it made in something else, choose "other" and leave a note at checkout.
It can be made with no clip, or a clip.
It’s beautiful, perfectly balanced and an absolute joy writing with it.
good looking pen
objective: polished red/black ripple ebonite pen, very large, lightweight, smooth threads, ebonite feed, broad custom anodized titanium #6 bock nib.
subjective: feels great in hand, smooth writer, very wet. you do not grip this pen as much as support it and guide it while writing. due to the wet and broad nib you will use more paper and ink because you really need to open up your handwriting to improve legibility. a pleasure to write with. i really like the red/black ripple ebonite, feels so smooth and a softer warmer touch than acrylics. an exemplar of craftsmanship.
Jim recently built a Zeitgeist Evancio pen for me that's an absolute stunning pen and great writer. I couldn't be happier with the end result and level of workmanship needed to create it. Nicely done!!!
