Made from Japanese ebonite, it offers many benefits to the user over other acrylic options. Ebonite is very warm in the hand. It does not get slick during long writing sessions where the hand may get a little damp from perspiration. It is also a very durable material, resisting dents and cracks from accidental drops.
The only adornment to this pen is a Vintage Art Deco clip, lending to that classic american fountain pen appearance.
