Our next installment (way past due) to the mermaid series is the Mercurial Mermaid.
For those like me that don't have an extensive vocabulary, mercurial means: (of a person) subject to sudden or unpredictable changes of mood or mind.
When I look at this pen, that definition just seems to fit. We hope you find it equally fitting.
This is an in-house poured blank, poured by our own in-house seamstress and new resin artist Elycca Longazelle with Jim's help. Jim had an idea based off the magical mermaid, and said we don't do enough green.. and Elyce made it come to life.
I love this pen, it has the smoothest nip I have ever used. The green nib with green and white body is very striking. My only complaint is that the pen used in the website has the dark green color transitioning from the cap to the body and looks like more connected while the one I received the darker green in only in the cap. I know the acrylic coloring is a bit different and it is minor but I still thought I should point it out.
