M734A - Serpiente de zafiro

This is another fabulous pen by the Hinze Pen group thepen is a little larger than most of their pen offerings but it is not overwhelming in size when uncapped. The pen is straight without any step between the cap and barrel and the cap cannot be posted, butthis is not needed as the pen uncapped is sufficiently long to allow a comfortable writing experience. The grio section is sufficiently long to allow a comfortable grip and the screw threads are not sharp and will not bother you if you like to grip the pen farther back on the section. If you like to grip the section closer to the nib there is a slight unobtrusive lip to warn you as you approach the nib. The nib I have is a medium and it writes very well. The best part of the pen is the extremely beautiful resin. It is a wonderful shade of blue and the "snake" pattern is achieved with a brighter shade of blue with silver/white highlighting that gives the pen a mesmerizing chatoyance.I have the blue nib which makes for a " unified" appearance. I paired the pen with Robert Oster Soda Pop Blue fir a great writing experience.
